About

Andrea Wild is a singer, producer and emcee from Liverpool, UK currently residing in Portland, Oregon. Her passion for singing has chartered a course as a Celtic vocalist compelled to stage performance, collaboration and community engagement. At the forefront of a number of unique Celtic music projects, Andrea surrounds herself with talented musicians and dancers who integrate melodic life and rhythmic soul into the genre.

Andrea’s mother was from Pwllheli, Wales. Andrea’s desire to build a bridge back to her Welsh roots generated Andrea Wild & The Bad Wolves, a band which is gaining attention from Welsh societies across the US. She has emceed and performed at Noson Lawen (Welsh night of music) events and other Welsh celebrations in Oregon, Washington, Massachusetts and Vancouver, BC. Andrea is a dedicated member of the Welsh Society of Oregon and also sings with Oregon’s Welsh Dragon Choir.

In addition to singing, Andrea enjoys the opportunity to unite community in meaningful ways through music.  She developed Global Folk Club in 2014 as a monthly showcase of diverse folk acts culminating in an English PubSing.  Andrea is a go-to emcee for music and benefit events, stage management and civic functions.
